Trainings for Civil Servants
Understanding the political force field
As a council member, I experience daily the importance of effective collaboration between civil servants and elected representatives. When council members are well-informed and can ask civil servants questions, the quality of decision-making improves. And when civil servants understand the political landscape, they can better translate political ambitions into actionable policies.
Yet, civil servants on the one hand and aldermen and council members on the other don't always speak the same languageāeven though they all work for the common good. Through my training and mentorship, I help bring these worlds closer together at the local and provincial levels.
